Invited Talk at the 6G-Life and 6G-RIC Workshop on Post-Shannon Theory and Molecular Communication

Maximilian Schäfer during his presentation at tge 6G-life and 6G-Workshop

Maximilian Schäfer, postdoctoral researcher at IDC and SyMOCADS associate, gave an invited talk at the 2025 6G-life and 6G-RIC Workshop on Post-Shannon Theory and Molecular Communication, held at TU Braunschweig from March 31 to April 4. He provided an introduction to molecular communication and the Internet of BioNanoThings, and presented IDC’s ongoing research on developing the first experimental in vivo testbed for the design and analysis of molecular communication systems. The workshop brought together researchers from the fields of molecular communication and information theory, covering topics such as message identification theory, common randomness generation, age of information, and molecular communication.
