Young SyMoCADS' Researchers at the 3rd SyMoCADS Seminar

The 3rd SyMoCADS Seminar was hosted again by Prof. Dietmar Drummer and his team at the Institute of Polymer Technology. We are very grateful for their hospitality. The meeting began with two fascinating and inspiring guest talks: Prof. Michael Schmidt (Chair of Photonic Technologies, FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg) “From Macro to Atoms: Label Free Spectroscopy Methods Across Size Scales” and Prof. Simone Schürle-Finke (Department of Health Sciences and Technology, ETH Zürich, Switzerland) “Design, Control, and Tracking of Soft Magnetic Microrobots for Targeted Drug Delivery”. After a vivid discussion, we continued with the short overview of the RTG followed by individual presentations of the current status of the work in each cluster. It is great to see the progress of the research in the different clusters and the individual projects over the past 1.5 years. Strengthened and motivated by lively discussions, comments, and exchanges during the seminar, we are continuing our work and are already looking forward to the next RTG event.
