The 10th Molecular Communication Workshop took place in Istanbul, Turkey, from April 15 to 17, 2026, and of course we couldn’t miss it. SyMoCADS was represented not only by the doctoral researchers from Cluster 2 (Keyu Xiao P4, Luiz Wille P5 and Daniel Fleischhauer P6) and Cluster 3 (Sümeyye Cartkit-Yilmaz P7 and Kaikai ZhuP8), who took the opportunity to present their current research and exchange ideas with an interdisciplinary audience, but also our postdoc Dr. Sebastian Lotter (P10), a number of associated doctoral and postdoctoral researchers (Paul Wolff, Theofilos Symeonidis, Dr. Sebastian Schuol, Dr. Fardad Vakilipoor Takaloo, Dr. Maximilian Schäfer) and Prof. Jens Kirchner (PA P5).
In its inspiring setting, the workshop offered new insights from a wide range of disciplines and facilitated exchanges with other researchers, as well as reflection and new perspectives on one’s own research.
We are very pleased to mention that our associate Paul Wolff was awarded the prize for the best presentation for his talk titled “The Potential of Spatially Detecting SPIONs Using Multiple Sensor Coils.”
Overall, the workshop was an inspiring and enriching experience for all participants and we are grateful that we could be a part of it.
