In each lecture period, one qualification day is reserved for the RTG seminar. Each doctoral researcher will give a 20-30 min presentation regarding the progress of her/his doctoral project followed by at least 15 min of discussion. Based on these seminars and discussions during the monthly meetings with the entire mentoring team, the doctoral researcher and the mentoring team will evaluate the progress of the doctoral project with respect to the milestones and in comparison with other projects. The doctoral researchers have to participate in at least six RTG seminars before graduation. After each seminar, a social get-together of the entire SyMoCADS team will be organized to foster networking and informal interaction and exchange.
